EnergyWise HVAC Systems Design and Guarantee
A "leaky" home or building is not "energy wise." Once you have made the decision to use a foam insulation package, EnergyWise engineering reviews your plans and calculates the optimal HVAC requirements including zoning and sizing of all HVAC equipment and room-by-room CFM load requirements.
Following all of our recommendations, an EnergyWise spray polyurethane foam structure creates a monolithic shell that is extremely tight. However, foam alone doesn't necessarily ensure optimal performance. While the foam structure is very thermally efficient, our extensive experience has proven it is critical that the complete system be properly engineered with a correctly sized HVAC system along with proper duct placement. The issues of handling the moisture requirements, assuring air quality and guarding against CO2 buildup are also addressed.
EnergyWise designs your HVAC system and allows you to take full advantage of the thermal envelope you've created. This is where EnergyWise excels like no one else in the market.
EnergyWise uses a proprietary computer program that was generated from experience derived from NASA thermal consultants for the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space programs. This software has been upgraded and fine tuned after more than 25 years of real-world experience in analyzing thousands of structures. The EnergyWise program accurately projects the heating and cooling consumption, comparative savings and the optimal heating and cooling system sizing. Then, EnergyWise designs the HVAC duct system which is critical to proper air distribution. An extensive energy analysis report is then generated and, when accompanied by a submeter measuring only HVAC usage, a two-year performance guarantee is issued. More...
